Sharda Sinha is a Maithili folk-singer from Begusarai, Bihar, India. She was born in Hulas, Raghopur, Supaul district in Mithila region of Bihar.[1] She is the most celebrated and renowned[citation needed] singer of Bihar who sings in Maithili and other languages like Bhojpuri and Magahi. She is known for her maithili version of the Chhath Puja themed song "Ho dinanath". She got civilian award Padma Bhushan on the eve of Republic Day, 2018.
